Chocolate pudding

I’d like to share with you my chocolate pudding recipe – because it’s simple but delicious!

You’ll need:

  • 600ml milk
  • 50ml sugar
  • 75ml corn startch
  • 30ml cocoa powder (that’s 2tbsp)

Mix these together in a pot and heat up, stirring all the time, otherwise the mixture will burn. Heat the mixture up until it boils; reduce the heat and let simmer for about 2min, still stirring. By now the mixture has thickened into a lovely, gooey pudding. Stir in 1/2 tsp of vanilla (I use 1tsp vanilla sugar instead) and let cool.

The pudding is the best when it’s cold but I usually start eating when it’s still warm… =P

Added Sept. 24th – Forgot to mention:

For all the kids and for the young-at-heart, scoop the pudding into serving bowls, sprinkle with cocoa powder and add some gummy worms for a lovely, dirt-y snack!!! 🙂
